Snow play in Big Bear gets an early start for 2021 winter season

Big Bear Snow Play opens to the public Saturday, Oct. 16, the earliest the popular snow-tubing recreation area has opened in 22 years. With nights in the 20s and lots of dry winds this week, the center has been able to produce enough snow to kick off the winter season before Halloween.
