Fontana pays $12 million for warehouse to be made into homeless shelter

At its meeting Tuesday, March 25, the Fontana City Council voted unanimously to purchase a warehouse at 11109 Jasmine St. to convert it into a regional navigation center. The total cost, including escrow costs, acquisition fees and related expenses, will be up to $12 million, according to a report prepared by city staff for the council.
