First locally acquired case of dengue virus reported in San Bernardino County

For the first time, a San Bernardino County resident has been infected with dengue virus locally in the city of San Bernardino. The county Department of Public Health announced the infection on Thursday, Nov. 7. Previous cases of dengue in the county were seen in people who had traveled to places where the virus is more commonly found.
