Dad accused of threatening juvenile son dies in police shooting, CA cops say

Police fatally shot a father accused of threatening to kill his son, California officials said. Officers “pleaded” with the father to drop his knife and tried “several de-escalation methods,” including a Taser and bean bag rounds, the San Bernardino Police Department said in an April 7 news release.
