Wind-driven blaze burns 8 acres near Fontana

A vegetation fire on a hillside near Fontana burned about eight acres on Sunday, Sept. 25, authorities said. Around 3 p.m., crews initially responded to the area near Jurupa and Alder avenues for a reported vehicle fire.
