Visitors flock to Big Bear area to start winter season in the snow

Big Bear Snow Play kicked off the winter season earlier than ever this weekend as the popular recreation space opened to visitors two weeks before Halloween. Open across the street from Octoberfest, the San Bernardino Mountains resort area drew travelers and families visiting for the myriad other activities going on in the area.
