Maria Luna shines as Chino Hills softball team beats Santiago in Division 1 opener

The future is now for Maria Luna and the Chino Hills softball team. Luna, a junior transfer from Centennial, has been the Huskies’ No. 2 pitcher most of the season, but she has assumed the role of ace with Nebraska-bound senior Kendall Mangel sidelined with an injury.
