La Verne topped by North Carolina in Little League Softball World Series

The La Verne Little League all-stars saw their run at the Little League Softball World Series end on Friday, falling to host North Carolina, 6-1. North Carolina scored four runs in the fourth inning to break open a scoreless game that had been delayed by rain.
