Kings still face a battle to make playoffs

Once appearing comfortably situated for their first playoff berth in four seasons, the Kings may find themselves in quicksand if they fail to pick up points in a back-to-back set that will pit them against the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday and Colorado Avalanche on Wednesday.
