Riverside Poly defeated Long Beach Poly 81-60 Friday night in a basketball playoff game. The game included some interesting area connections said Mike Murphy, the former San Bernardino Sun sports editor. Long Beach Poly coach Shelton Diggs Jr. is the son of San Bernardino High athletic royalty, former three-sport Cardinals star Shelton Diggs Sr.
