Heavy rains causing slowdowns, PCH closures and flooding in Southern California

The brunt of a winter storm hit Southern California Thursday morning, Jan. 5, causing headaches among morning commuters with freeway slowdowns, road closures, flooding, downed trees and high-surf warnings along the coast.
