Brush fire at Fontana park threatens homes

The Sierra fire was reported about 2:45 p.m. near the intersection of Sierra and Jurupa avenues, the San Bernardino County Fire Department said. The flames were moving southeast with some movement uphill to the east, the department said in a 3:43 p.m. update.
