Several callers notified the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department’s Yucaipa Police Department of shots possibly fired near the 1300 block of Chrysolite Avenue at about 2:10 p.m., the department said in a Facebook post at 3:19 p.m. Rumors of an active shooting prompted a large response from law enforcement, but were later proven false.
